There are people who come to our website, read what we believe about the rapture and throw us into their “heretic list.” There are people who teach unbiblical theories about the rapture yet I have still been in agreement with other doctrine they teach and shared some of their articles on our website. At the same time though, I have seen some of these same people dump me because I disagreed with them about the rapture. These people who do this have serious spiritual issues that they desperately need to work out with the Lord.
I am not writing this to argue with anyone about the pre-tribulation, or mid-tribulation, or post-tribulation. The Bible clearly tells us that the first rapture will occur prior to the tribulation period. People who are teaching a mid-trib or post-trib are confusing the scriptures which speak of two separate events. People are also following the paths of man-made ideas which ‘seem’ to be right or sound good. Someone said to me once that they believed in the rapture until they were hearing the no rapture ideas being spread around on Facebook. Folks, if you are being swayed by popular opinion then you NEED TO STAY AWAY from such people until you have been well grounded and firmly understand what you believe. The Bible warns us to avoid such teaching that “sounds good” because it is false (Proverbs 14:12, Proverbs 16:25, Proverbs 18:17, Revelation 22:18-21) .
While the Rapture is not taught in Matthew, Mark, and Luke, you will find it mentioned twice in the Gospel of John. This is important to remember: Any other time you read about Christ’s return in the Gospels, it is not referring to the Rapture. Instead, these are references to the second phase of Christ’s return (the Second Coming), when He physically comes back to earth to rule over the earth after a seven-year tribulation period. -Jack Van Impe, the Rapture–
We are living right now on the edge of these two separate events about to take place. The first being the rapture of the saints which will occur like a thief in the night before the seven year tribulation period begins (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).
This is not His coming to the earth, but a time when Jesus receives us unto Himself at the great Rapture – the snatching away – to be with Him in heaven as the seven years of torment play out their unbridled fury on the earth. – Jack Van Impe, the Rapture–
At the end of the seven year tribulation period will begin the most terrible of all wars, Armageddon. Once this war begins then every eye will see the “Second Coming” of the Lord when Jesus Christ will physically appear and step foot on this earth at the Mount of Olives to war against Satan.
Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen. “I am the Alpha and the Omega, [the] Beginning and [the] End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” Revelation 1:7-8
All those who have rejected Jesus and not made a commitment to Him will be destroyed in this war. All those who accepted Jesus during the tribulation period will be saved. Jesus has already won this battle. Satan will bow to Jesus confessing that He is LORD and then Jesus will throw Satan into the bottomless pit.
And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. Revelation 20:1-3
There are six references to this ‘thousand years’ in Revelation 20. The ‘thousand years’ is referring to the Millennial Reign. The first day of the one thousand year reign of Christ will begin a new day- eternity. During the thousand year Millennial Reign Jesus Christ will rule as King on this earth and there will be peace because all the evil people and the devil, Satan, will be in Hell.
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:14-15
One of the reasons I shared this was to get back to the importance of our relationships with fellow Christians. The Bible says that WE WILL KNOW a fellow brother and sister in the Lord by the LOVE we have for one another and others who are not believers.
By this shall all [men] know that ye are my disciples, if ye have LOVE one to another. John 13:35
This verse says it all. People today are trying to WORK their way into Heaven. Others are trying to WORK their way into a Heaven on this earth. So many do not understand biblical prophecy whatsoever. There is so much twisting and confusion of scripture. And WHO do you think initiated all this mess? The devil, of course. He wants people to be in confusion and following false doctrine because then he has you in the palm of his claws. People try to understand these scriptures on their own strength. None of these things will work or make you accepted into Heaven.
RELATIONSHIPS– seems to be that one GIGANTIC obstacle that nearly everyone is overlooking.
How often I have heard people say “Well, we just have personalities that don’t click” or other things to this effect. Listen up, folks, time is short. The Lord is NOT going to separate Heaven into cliques like the counterfeit church people do today. If you do not make peace with people right now then you never will because once that trumpet calls the true saints will be taken up into Heaven and you will be left behind. It is not going to matter what that person did or said to hurt you. It is up to YOU to ask the Lord to help you work it out with that person. Anyone holding grudges or refusing to make peace with a fellow brother or sister in Christ will be left here for the tribulation period and during that time more people will become more disillusioned than those who will humble themselves before the Lord. If you cannot get along and accept ALL brothers and sisters in the family of God now then there will be no time left when the trumpet sounds to change your mind.
The world has taught people to discard anyone who gets in the way of what one wants, or because someone sounds too negative (which sometimes is just reality and truth!), or because the person does not match their social status, and lots of other ridiculous reasons. The LORD SEES and He will judge these people. That should frighten anyone who is serious about their commitment to the Lord if they have a situation in their life involving other people that they need to work out.
In fact, if you feel no conviction right now about people you have shunned, mistreated, harmed in any way, or even just avoided or had bad thoughts about then you are probably not even saved because anyone who is genuinely saved and abiding in God’s Word has the Holy Spirit who convicts them about wrong doing. God is not going to listen to your excuses. I do not care how many people you surround yourself with who says to you “Pay no attention to her. She’s just whining… or too critical, or complaining, or trying to control people.” LOL! But I have been called all sorts of names and accused of all sorts of garbage all because people wanted to make excuses for their wrong doing and for throwing people away.

If you have never accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior or if you once made a commitment to Him but have backslid, then I encourage you to make that commitment right now before time runs out. You can follow this page link for a sample prayer but it is best to speak to the Lord in your own words.
